Smoke alarm works



From the internal principle, the smoke alarm is to monitor the concentration of smoke to achieve fire prevention. The smoke alarm uses ion smoke sensing inside. It is a technically advanced, stable and reliable sensor and is widely used in various applications. In the fire alarm system, the performance is much better than the gas alarm type fire alarm.

Inside and outside the ionization chamber, there is a radioactive source 241. The positive and negative ions produced by the ionization move to the positive and negative electrodes respectively under the action of the electric field. Under normal conditions, the current and voltage of the internal and external ionization chambers are stable. Once there is smoke, escape the ionization chamber. Interfering with the normal motion of the charged particles, the current and voltage will change, destroying the balance between the inside and outside ionization chambers, so the wireless transmitter sends a wireless alarm signal to inform the remote receiving host to pass the alarm information out.

The smoke alarm consists of two parts: one is an inductive sensor for detecting smoke, and the other is an electronic speaker with a very loud sound, which can alert people in time if danger occurs.
